Just wanted to throw some bones in. Love this podcast (esp. the Darkling podcast, guys. There's so many great fan supplements out there that just disappear one day into the ether). I'd like to join Evo Shandor in hopes of seeing a chat with the designer of the new Highlander fan sup, Immortal by Gnome American.

I know you guys are working on a Changeling cast sometime soon. I've been running a CtL game for the past two years and am extremely interested in your coverage of it. One thing I'd like to see tackled in that same podcast is the merits, flaws and fun of Changeling: The Dreaming, Dark Ages: Fae and Changeling: The Lost.

Key books to review for Changeling the Lost:
-Grim Fears (for some of THE best Changeling villains)
-Lords of Summer (for greater Court expansion)
-Winter Masques (for out-of-the-box character design)
-Equinox Road (for the finishing touches on a Changeling chronicle)

I'd like to see (hear?) you guys cover the books and topics aimed mostly at mortal characters like Tales from the 13th Precinct and Dogs of War for the new world of darkness and Mafia from the old world of darkness (never read that particular book..if the book is a joke, laugh at it on the show!). The thing is with mortals...no matter what game you are playing, they are always around. they didn't get great coverage in the old wod, i would like to hear your opinions on how they are covered in the new.

Changeling is definitely on the cards. Hope to be able to do something cool with that before too long :).

A look at mortals in OWoD and NWoD would be cool, Tritium. I wasn't overly impressed by Dogs of War - but admittedly all I wanted was "Clive Barker's Jericho - the Roleplaying Game" so I may be a teensy bit biased when Dogs of War was not that . I have a copy of Mafia lying around somewhere, I think - will have to dig that out and give another read.

I was expecting Call of Duty Modern Warfare... everyone expected something out of that book that it wasn't... which is totally unfair to the book. I need to give it a second read.

You should enjoy that! The Mafia book while it may seem a no brainer is actually approached in really interesting and eye opening way.

I enjoyed it. I kind of liked Gypsy a bit better, as it was still magical and also tied in most of the other games fairly easily, but Mafia had a lot of potential. It came out later near the end of the line.

I like gypsy too for very similar reasons, another great book was Midnight Circus for that great 1930's style freak show come traveling fair with a strong twist of magic.

Once Unbidden Horrors is out, I'd be curious to see reviews for the Night Horrors line; Wolfsbane, Grim Fears, et al.
