Postby DarkerDays_Mark » Sun Sep 13, 2009 7:38 pm

As announced elsewhere, Episode #11 will feature Malcolm Sheppard as a special guest. Long-time White Wolf freelancer and owner of his own publising house, Malcolm will be recording the show with us on 23rd September. Check out the thread linked above to see a full list of Malcolm's work and other cool activities.

This thread is for posting your questions for Malcolm. Stick them below and we'll include them in the show. As usual, all questions need to be in a day before the show - in this case, by 22nd September, 5pm EST. Thanks!

Obvious first two questions of course are again

What information can we get on the upcoming releases -

World of Darkness: Mirrors

Mage Chronicler’s Guide

Others -

Can he confirm if/when there are any further books on the horizon for Mage past the Chronicler's Guide and the Night Horrors book.

What were some his influences for design of the Mage: The Awakening game and the rest of its continued line of books.
"Blood. Sometimes it sets my teeth on edge, other times it helps me control the chaos."

How did your experience working in the Venice Chronicles social network influenced your later work in roleplaying games?
Did you share any of your experience and lessons leanerd while working in VC with the team currently working on WoD MMO?
Do you have any specific ideas concerning how a sucessful WoD MMO could be designed?
What's your favorite RPG material that eventually was cut in the final editing process?

BTW: Congrats for your really cool and interesting podcast, guys. Loved the Secret Frequencies on strange gravity anomalies because I'm from Portugal and now I've to find out about that Braga's thingie. :)

Thanks! And thank you also for your questions - cool idea to ask about the Venice Chronicles :)

There's a cool video of the Braga gravity anomaly in action here:

If you go there, be sure to report back. But watch out for the serpent people from the Hollow Earth!

Lets say that you just got the OK to write UFO the Abducting (or whatever project). How would you go about getting into the mood for writing? For example, many of the inspirational material listen in the core books, are those movies/books/etc that you guys actually watch and read, or is that more an after thought?

What part of creating a typical project do you hate the most? Besides waiting on the check. . . For example, waiting on approval for an idea, or needing to go through certain steps for this or that?

What is going to be destroyed first, Cali or NY?

Are White Wolf paychecks made with game designs or cool logos?

What is your dream project, white wolf or not?

The CEO of White Wolf, WotC/Hasboro, and I don't know, Catalyst Games are all stranded on an island for 15 years. There is one gun and one bullet. Who gets them?
