Archons: A Dominion, They generally view Aether as some sort of perfect, or nearly so heavenly realm and seek to return there. Individual Archons have slightly personal view about what that heavenly realm is really like, though there is a general understanding that is is a perfect, ordered, sacred, and/or happy place.
Demons: A Dominion, the iconic fallen angels. Most are extremely bitter towards the powers that be for their fall. Many see themselves as innocent or at the least not so guilty to merit such a punishment. Regardles, mostave turned their backs on the heavens, either for spite or because the memory is to painful to keep experiencing. Like the Patrons, Demons are much more at home in this reality, and don't really seek to return, (except to perhaps force themselves back in).
Dominions: Social groups of the Exiled with similar goals, philosophies, and world/realm views.
Exiled: Referring to those banished from the realm of Aether. AKA The PCs of this game.
Patrons: A Dominion, these exiled that may be a little regretful that they were pushed out of Aether, but have found their place on earth and don't really seek to return, (at least as the ultimate goal). Some are just happier here, while others might not want o have to go through the ordeal of being tainted and cast out again, and have just made their peace. Patrons generally devote themselves to making this world a better place, at least from their point of view. Patrons focus on inspiring mortals to greater heights in whatever causes the Angel represents.
Sages: A Dominion, these Exiled are ones that value knowledge and understanding above all else. To them, their exile, permanent or not, did cut them off from a treasury of Aetherian knowledge, but has also granted them the opportunity to experience and learn from a wealth of human lore.
