Group Project - 'Fallen' Starting ground

Before we start, if you wish to add to this project, I would like you to post on this thread, stating that you grant permission to use the ideas you suggest in this project. In exchange, your real name (should you provide it, here or through Private message) will be added to the list of those contributing. And that you understand this will be a free fan suppliant for NWoD. I know this may sound odd but this situation has prevented the release of free fan books in the past.

What this thread is for.

This thread is to develop names for things and get permission to use your ideas for the fan book.

The basic Idea

The Aether realm is home to the 'Angels' or celestial beings. What if the Abyss attacks the Supernatural realms as well. And these beings are its defenders. But they defend all 5+ realms up there. But it is possible that too much exposure causes them to be 'tarnished' with the realms resonance. Since they are no longer pure they are banished to the Fallen world. Maybe they can redeem themselves, maybe not. The Angels would be very much a strict Ordered society with no room for deviation. The tarnished would be more human, maybe that's even the problem. Players would play one of the tarnish (Fallen) beings. There would be roles and orders adapted on earth. Maybe like the original Demon game they need a host not to be swallowed and warped by the abyss.

The banished beings are sent to earth and are forced to possess humans which blends them with humanities thoughts and morality. Most remember only fragments of what they were.

The Name Questions
What should we call there Supernatural trait?
Their energy name (Example vitae, mana)?
Morality trait?
True form? Should they differ based on level of morality?
What should their powers be called? I suggest Lore but if we can get a more fitting name so be it.[/quote]


I will try and answer these in the order they came. Archon would attract more players to the game as a name. I am also favoring the The Exiled.

The supernatural trait I would suggest that "Glory" be used. The energy they call upon could be called grace. Morality is a tough one for me, maybe Humility ?. The true form should Ascending or Zion shift as they are assuming the form that they use in heaven which could be devastating to behold for mere mortals and allow for tabloid fodder for days.

I am liking the Lore as the listing of abilities.

I will try to post more opions later and feel free to use whatever I come up with.

Thank you for your input but I forgot to alter this thread, we are a bit passed this. But your help is more then welcome if you interested. Just send me a email and I will send you the most up to date stuff we have.
